Are you taking advantage of the blogging capabilities of your WordPress website?

You should be. I can think of a dozen reasons why you should. Here are just a few of them.

  1. Fresh content on your website is Google’s number one priority. When Google is deciding to get top placement in search engine rankings, fresh, relevant content is their top priority. If you want to get found ahead of your competitors in the search results, you need to be blogging at least weekly.
  2. Social media isn’t the only way to stay connected. People subscribe to magazines, movie channels, and the book clubs. They also subscribe to blogs they feel offer solid information.
  3. Blogging brings in links. Link building is an important part of search engine optimization. However, paying someone to build links to your website can be expensive and slow and doing it yourself can be time-consuming and tedious unless you use one of these articles on link building. One great way to get one way, incoming links is writing helpful blog posts area and if people find a blog post helpful, they may link to it from their own blog. They might also link to your post by listing it on a bookmarking site or on Facebook or tweeting about it.

There are lots of great reasons to be blogging. And if you have a WordPress website, you have the easiest blogging software available. It’s easier than typing a letter in Microsoft Word.

So no more excuses. Build your online popularity by blogging regularly and watch over time as your website traffic, Google rank, and sales all go up.
