Are you looking for an alternative to Quickbooks and to save some money as well? I just completed a 30 day trial with FreeAgent and am pretty impressed.

I have been using the online version of Quickbooks for the past 2 years. All was going well and without a hitch, then the monthly price was raised on me to $36/mo and on top of that, my bank charges me another $14.95 to integrate my checking account, so let’s add this up – $50.95!  When you’re running a small business, every little bit that you can save helps. So I went searching for another alternative.

I tried the free trials for Freshbooks, 17 Hats, Xero, Zoho, and ended up deciding on FreeAgent. For $24/mo or $240/yr I get everything that Quickbooks gives me including scheduling invoices, creating recurring invoices, tracking expenses, creating estimates/quotes, import bank statements, connect a bank feed for updates, however if you are a larger company that needs more specific accounting, like inventory tracking, this may not be the software for you.

FreeAgent is perfect for the freelancer, small business or nonprofit that needs to track income and expenses. I also like the “Monday Motivator” that gives me a weekly overview of what’s happening. Their customer service is excellent and they have a multitude of ‘how to’ videos in case you need help.

Right now you can get a 30 day free trial that gives you full working access to try it out. If you like it, the first 6 months will only set you back $12/mo or get this first year for only $120. Seriously. On top of that, use my referral coupon 4600r9hw and take 10% on your bill every month or annually as long as you have an open account with FreeAgent, or just click the link below.
